The Senior Sourcing Specialist
is accountable for helping
deliver Procurement value to over 1,500 locations across all three of KCE’s
brands including KinderCare, KinderCare at Work and Champions as well as the
National Support Center., The Sourcing Specialist plays an important role in delivering
financial results and operational improvements. Working in a collaborative
culture, this Sourcing role will be involved in broad aspects of company
operations by working with functional areas such as Center Operations and Education. This
is a strategic role that involves leading the sourcing of products and services
including category strategy development, RFP’s, negotiations, contracting and
program implementation with responsibility of $20+m in spend across a diverse
range of categories.
A successful candidate will have a track
record of delivering results through strategic procurement of goods and/or
services. The candidate will be goal oriented a self-starter with
excellent communication and project management skills.
Drive procurement sourcing projects for a
variety of products and services to support our centers and corporate office
that deliver financial results and operational improvements.
Create category strategies that fully assess
the opportunities, risks, supplier marketplace, costs and product / service
Negotiate to maximize savings and operational
results by developing complete and aggressive strategies and expertly
conducting discussions with suppliers.
Plan and manage multiple projects
concurrently, prioritizing based on best opportunity to deliver results and
minimizing non value added effort.
Perform process steps appropriate for the
project such as market assessment, supplier prequalification, RFP’s and
Document contracts using standard templates,
ensuring clear and complete requirements and performance standards.
Collaborate cross functionally, ensuring
stakeholder alignment to project goals, product/service requirements, and
Deliver project implementations timely and
successfully, working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on plans,
roles and responsibilities and communications.
