Secrets and Shortcuts for Filling Out Your Job Application at KinderCare banner
The application process can seem like a daunting and unnerving process for anyone, especially when you don’t know what to expect. Here are some tips on our application process to make the best use of your time and to be the most prepared for next steps.
  • Read the job description. Thoroughly read the job description to ensure basic qualifications are met and that this is the job that you’re interested in and based in the location of your choice.
  • Documents ready. Have your resume ready. If you don’t have a resume, have information on your employment history (company name, employment dates, etc.) and education information and dates. We accept word documents, pdf’s with the ability to login to your LinkedIn profile or Indeed to pull that information automatically. Our system can accept a variety of formats (i.e. word, pdf’s, LinkedIn, or Indeed)
  • Block an hour of your time. Yes, we know this is a lengthy process, but when it comes to the safety and security of those in the learning environment, we take our application process seriously, we also don’t want to waste your time if this isn’t the right fit for you.
  • Prepare for an assessment. This is the most lengthy section of our application experience that can take approximately 30 minutes to complete. This questionnaire is an important component since we learn about you and your interest in education, what excites you about teaching, how you thrive and what’s important to you regarding a career at KinderCare. This assessment is just as helpful for us as it is for you - your answers help us understand where you thrive and what roles are best for you. .
  • Check your email. Our application process is intended to move you along quickly throughout your pre-employment journey so that you can start with us quickly. Make sure you check your email for updates on your application, assessment links, and any other next steps.
  • Set up job alerts. If you don’t find a job for you today, it might be there tomorrow! Opportunities are constantly changing and we encourage you to check our website frequently for updates. You can also sign up for job alerts here to be notified when new jobs come up.
  • Learn more about KinderCare. You can complete the assessment, submit your application, but you should do your research if this is the place for you. Learn about our team on Facebook, read reviews on Glassdoor, understand our benefits on our website. If you know, you know.

Things you don’t need.

  • Cover letter - We will not be asking for a cover letter, save the time and focus on the assessment section.
  • Follow- ups - There is no need to follow up with anyone at KinderCare following your application submission. You should receive an email confirmation of your completion within seconds of your completion notifying you that someone will be reviewing your application shortly.
