As Senior Technical Accounting Analyst, you'll play a key role on the financial reporting team, focusing on sophisticated areas such as stock-based compensation, acquisitions, and capital structure.

This role ensures alignment with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards, supports compliance and internal audit initiatives, and contributes to strategic financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Record journal entries and perform reconciliations for stock-based compensation in line with ASC 718; support valuation of equity awards and acquisitions
  • Draft financial statement disclosures for areas including equity compensation, earnings per share (EPS), and debt; ensure compliance with accounting standards or equivalent experience
  • Handle the Equity Edge Online stock plan system; ensure data accuracy and partner with Payroll and Compensation on tax compliance
  • Contribute to the planning, review, and rollout of new or updated equity plans; stay informed on evolving accounting and regulatory standards
  • Prepare technical accounting memos and entries for sophisticated transactions and new accounting pronouncements ; collaborate across HR, Tax, and Corporate Accounting teams
  • Calculate Quarterly Credit Agreement EBITDA and build supporting documentation to meet compliance requirements
  • Improve and maintain SOX internal control documentation for stock-based compensation, working closely with Internal Audit
  • Champion ongoing process improvements, support accounting policy development, and ensure alignment across equity, debt, and compensation functions

Qualifications:

  • 2 years + in public accounting
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP and stock-based compensation, purchase accounting, debt and equity transactions
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Ability to research and propose company positions on sophisticated accounting issues
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Shown ability to balance multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Organized, meticulous, team-focused, and willing to work extra hours when vital.
  • Strong Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe skills
  • Experience with Workday or Equity Edge Online software a plus
