How We Invest In You banner

We want you to feel like part of our circle.

As you think about your career journey, think of the all-encompassing in addition to the job and pay. We spend more time at work than we do with most of our family members, so considering where you want to land your career is an important decision.

One of the most important things to consider when assessing potential employers is how they invest in you. You’ll often hear “We care about our people”, but what does that really mean?

At KinderCare, we’re more than just a daycare. The foundational aspects start with our culture of trust, providing you with a curriculum that has been tested since our beginning in 1969, and ensuring health and safety measures to keep you and your family safe – but that’s just the minimum. You will bring your (big) heart and soul into our programs every day, so we want to make sure you feel supported at work and at home. That’s why we strive to take a holistic approach as we invest in you and our future.

Health and wellness is prioritized – A competitive benefits package supports you as an employee but also your loved ones. It’s not just providing health insurance, but protecting your financial future. At KinderCare, not only do we have a comprehensive health insurance plan that is one of the most competitive in the childcare industry, but our plan is inclusive of mental health, stress reduction, disability coverage, and health screenings to ensure that you are happy, healthy, and taken care of in case of illness or injury. You and your loved ones’ financial futures matter to us too, so we offer life insurance plans, retirement plans, tuition assistance, legal assistance, and financial education and planning.

We are always learning – We're helping children grow and learn every day. It’s not just our mission, it’s our whole purpose. Our employees’ access to lifelong education and professional development is part of that purpose too. We offer full-time employees $1,500 towards education related to Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials. We also have a program that makes it easier to achieve CDA.

Employee connections are important – We’re living our promise to prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion at KinderCare through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). These voluntary, employee-led communities for underrepresented people offer safe spaces for you to join or be an ally to build a community and a sense of belonging while influencing positive organizational change, growing professionally, and connecting with others who identify similarly to you. We currently have five ERG’s, including African American | Black, Accessibility | Disabilities, Latinx | Hispanic, LGBTQIA+, and Women – with more coming soon.

Learning together is so much better – One of our all-time favorite perks at KLC is our KLC Kids benefit. We want you to experience our exceptional learning experiences firsthand and offer our employees 50% off tuition for immediate family members of eligible employees. No KCE employee will pay more than $110* on tuition a week ($475* per month) per child. Please note that the tuition cap changes each year in the fall.

Flexible Shifts – We know that availability can flex, which is why we offer both FT and PT positions within all brands. Whether it’s a split shift, specific days or hours – we work with you to find the best fit for you and your needs.

Quality of Work - Engagement is the core of our culture here at KinderCare – it's the emotional connection our employees and families have to our organization. We focus on engagement as an organization, not only because it’s the right thing to do, but it’s who we are. We support your journey and create space for engagement to be a meaningful experience each and every day.

Vacation and paid time off – We all need to rest, recharge, and take care of personal and family needs. That’s why we offer vacation, personal time, and holiday pay for eligible employees. Number of days vary by job, so check with your recruiter for information particular to you.

Focus on career growth – Our over 33,000 teachers and staff members may mean 33,000 job opportunities or more in the future as we are continuously supporting the development and growth of all of our employees. What may seem like a first job out of high school can turn into leadership opportunities, or specialized skilled talent at your Center or in any of the KinderCare hubs and corporate offices.

We take care of our employees during times of need – As a part of our employee relief fund, OneFund, we have supported our colleagues since 2014 who have experienced catastrophic emergencies such a fire, a natural disaster, etc. This fund continues to give to our employees in need and allows them to focus on what matters the most.

As a KinderCare employee, not only do you make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families in your community, but you also feel like it’s more than just a paycheck. You can thrive professionally here and grow with us. We hope to see you in the classroom!
